EXTRA CREDIT is offered periodically throughout the school year. Extra credit opportunities offer students a chance to earn additional academic points and/or school service hours credit. Extra credit is not intended to be a quick fix for an academic grade deficiency at the end of a grading period. Students can earn up to a maximum of 3% of their total grade with extra credit points. Famosa Slough Volunteer Extra Credit, Saturday, November 12th, 2011, 9A.M.-11A.M.To earn extra credit, fill out the form from class (also available for download at the bottom of this page) and have one of the work party leaders sign it to verify that you volunteered from 9A.M.-11A.M. (if you worked only part of the 2 hours, you will only earn part of the extra credit points). Also, bring your planner so they can sign for your service hours. Be sure to wear work clothes and bring work gloves if you have them. Gloves and tools are provided and they usually have refreshments too.
