If your son or daughter has a '0' on an assignment, please have them talk with me to determine why there is a '0' listed, and if the assignment can be made up. Thanks! Throughout the year I will be posting class information, assignments, resource assistance, and grades on our class website AND Parent Connect (see below for additional information). Assignment due dates will be posted IN THE CLASSROOM and on the WEBSITE LIFE SCIENCE CALENDAR throughout the school year. Class homework and class activities will be collected together in a UNIT PACKET (see below for additional packet details). Current Unit Packet Information and Assignments are listed below (under the icons). A PACKET RUBRIC will be provided to each student (and posted online) to provide details of the assignments which are due in each unit packet. Unit packets are usually collected on the day of the UNIT TEST. UNIT QUIZZES and UNIT TESTS will be taken ONLINE using QUIA. Each student will have his/her private account. See below for further information regarding QUIA. ALL UNIT PACKET, JOURNAL, QUIZ, AND TEST SCORES WILL BE POSTED ON PARENT CONNECT THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. Note: See 'Life Science Calendar' for due dates. Rubric should be STAMPED for FULL CREDIT. Unit 6 (Ch. 6) covers 'Evolution of Living Things'. Unit 6 is the 1st unit of Semester 2 curriculum. The Darwin Podcast will be a separate grade entry. Note: A STAMP indicates the assignment was mostly (>70%) completed on time. Additional work may still need to be done to earn a perfect score.
